Transport disruptions continue as French trade unions call more strikes

French trade unions have called more strikes on 18,21,23 and 25th September to protest against new labour reforms.

The strikes are expected to disrupt air, sea and ground transportation with the effects reaching Spain. The last strike from French air traffic controllers led to the cancellation of over 200 flights.

Passengers are being warned for the disruption to their journey and are being advised to allow extra time when travelling. Passengers are also advised to check their operator’s website before they set off.

Ryanair have also cancelled up to 50 flights a day until the end of October, so it’s advisable to check travel arrangements over the next few weeks.
