On November 30th, The Shopping Night Barcelona returns, for the 8th edition, with a leitmotiv intended to rebuild the culture and history of Barcelona. The entire commercial thrust of Passeig de Gràcia will turn into a must-visit for Barcelona.
The Champs-Élysées of Barcelona, Passeig de Gràcia is a central avenue of the city with a perfect blend of unique architectural heritage and high-end shopping.
The theme of the 8th edition of The Shopping Night Barcelona is La Gauche Divine, a cultural movement of the late 60’s in Barcelona. This year marks the 50th anniversary of a movement that brought a new cultural, daring, glamorous and seductive dimension. Photographers, writers, actors, models, musicians, publishers, architects and filmmakers took part in this artistic and creative explosion.
La Gauche Divine is compared to the Italian Dolce Vita or the Andy Warhol Factory in New York. And, for many, this cultural movement laid the foundation for today’s identity of Barcelona: creativity, avant-garde, lifestyle.
The Shopping Night Barcelona has, as promoters, the City Hall and Friends of Passeig de Gràcia, commerce and neighborhood association founded in 1952, with the aim to safeguard and promote the interests of its members and to watch out for the good upkeep and maintenance of the avenue. Also, among the artists that made The Shopping Night Barcelona possible, we find influencer and model Jessica Goicoechea, actor Josep Ferré or movie director Juan Manel Moran.
