The Hacienda is a stunning venue for a wedding. It is accessible to 5 international airports within 2hrs drive including Seville, Jerez, Gibraltar, Malaga and Faro. The Hacienda is the perfect hideaway to get married and there are many options on offer. With the 5 acres of beautifully manicured gardens, three swimming pools, four possible wedding venues and our very own in house catering team the Hacienda has the perfect infrastructure for such a special occasion.
They provide in house catering for up to 130 guests.
The Hacienda comfortably sleeps 32 guests and if required a few rooms can be for triple use. They can recommend a few hotels / hostels in the area for other guests if necessary.
They arrange all transport be it taxi / minibus / coach.
The Hacienda can arrange religious and non-religious ceremonies and blessings at the hacienda and they have relationships with various ministers. They can also arrange Catholic weddings at the local parish.
What works very well for weddings is to move guests round from the West garden where one would have the reception with tapas and drinks at Sunset (after the blessing / ceremony) and then move on to the East garden for dinner and entertainment. They provide all the chairs and tables. They would hire in good music equipment from Seville and the technician would set up the disco in a number of possible areas. They are able to recommend photographers and international DJ´s.
All Food & Beverage is arranged by their in house chef and we do not use outside caterers in order to maintain a high standard. As they do all their own cooking we are flexible with menus and wines.
It is a great welcome to arrange an informal BBQ with a private Flamenco on Friday evening the day before the wedding. The Hacienda is in contact with top flamenco artists from Jerez and Seville. On the Saturday guests relax and the wedding ceremony is ideally held around 18h30 – 19h00 when the day begins to cool off.
All the way from June – September the temperature will be ideal to have dinner al fresco and to enjoy the 3 x pools during the day. The weddings are held outdoors including the reception, dinner & entertainment until the early hours of the morning and there are no noise constraints.
