The president of the Provincial Government of Alicante, Carlos Mazón, was in charge of delivering this prestigious award to the founders of Grupo Aitana, Paco and Pepe Ferrer. This event was held on October 3 at the House of Culture of Guardamar, and also attended by Ximo Puig, the president of the Valencian Generalitat. The trophy delivery was full of emotion, recognising the successful business career of the winners.
The Grupo Aitana is a family business founded in 1984 thanks to the initiative of the brothers Pepe and Paco. Since then, the business has experienced a constant growing, expanding its services to offer its customers everything they need without leaving Calpe. They provide DIY items, construction, decoration, electricity, household goods or clothing products, among many others things, always standing out for their close, direct and friendly assistance.
A well-deserved recognition
Paco and Pepe took the stage very happy to collect this well-deserved award from Carlos Mazón, who highlighted “the business culture, innovation and risk promoted by entrepreneurs in the province.” In addition, he also positively valued the current panorama of business association shared by family companies in the territory and he declared himself in favour of the abolition of inheritance and gift tax, as long as cohesion and social sustainability are ensured.
