With a stage of 112 square metres, a capacity of 999 people and proposals for all tastes, Condado Gastro Show Club combines good food with all types of art and entertainment in a unique leisure venue in Dénia.
Condado Gastro Show Club is a transversal project never before seen in the city or in the area, in which all cultural manifestations are combined to experience new sensations. Cervera family, with long tradition in hospitality as well as in restoration, acquired the abandoned Condando Cinema, a historical place that closed its doors in 2008 and was in advanced state of decay, and began an ample project to restore everything from structure to finishes. Frederic Cervera, manager of Condado, further explains:
“The project took about a year to complete, as we also built a new space inside the existing one, a ‘block inside the block’ – a structure on three levels, especially designed for the best acoustics possible.”
Condando Dénia opened on July the 8th 2015 and now offers various types of spectacles for various types of spectators: Gastro Shows combining performing art shows and dinner, Flamenco evenings, theatre, dancing school, one man shows, discotheque nights with invited DJs, plus punctual events and private events as well.
Concept
The space can be adapted from traditional audience to sitting at a table while tasting the menu prepared for the evening and thus the public of Condado is able to enjoy a new way of theater, film, live music shows and cabaret.
Frederic Cervera tells us that the concept of Condado Gastro Show Club is an open one, and is being adapted to the needs of the public at all times, fusing various elements in order to offer unforgettable experiences:
“Condado focuses upon theatre, music, concerts, dinners with live shows, discotheque, dancing… It is the fiesta room of the city of Dénia and since the beginning we have been trying, changing and adapting various ideas. We are inviting the most important Spanish comic artists to create entertainment shows. We have also presented some big shows, like Homage to Michael Jackson. In matters of events, we hosted a very diverse range, and I only mention now the launch of 1 Million perfume of Paco Rabanne, with over 200 international guests and press from different countries around the world.”

Upcoming This Summer
In about two weeks, we will be able to enjoy a new Condado terrace right on the street of Marqués de Campo, and a new lounge with a bar where 2 of the best mixologist of Dénia will be preparing exquisite cocktails. The cuisine of Condado will also be available during the day and, like all the menus designed for the Gastro Show, the new lounge menu is also created by Frederic’s sister Diana Cervera Navarro, Chef of the kitchen of La Seu restaurant in Dénia.
Also, the Gastro Shows will add two new titles to their ongoing New York Dinner Show: We Love the 90’s, with premiere on June the 30th, and Flower Power.
