The Spanish government, in the other hand had respond quickly. Vice President Soraya Sáenz de Santamaría said she was ashamed of what had happened at the Catalan Parliament, and the executive has already asked the TC to invalidate the implementation of the law and all acts that stem from it, among other measures.  Moncloa, ensured that the law will not be violated.
