A Luxury Tour of Seville

Seville is a gorgeous city to visit. It has a wealth of deep-rooted Andalusian history. With Moorish influences on its art and architecture, and flamenco out in the hot streets, you can really take a tour back in time. However… if you’re on holiday, you may want to take a break from the traditional and really treat yourself! Visit some of the more luxurious attractions in Seville.

Some people say that Seville is the true spiritual home of tapas, so you’d have to be unlucky to find truly bad food! Finding a high quality luxury offering is also easy, if you know where to look. Eslava gets rave reviews, and offers both tapas and a full menu. The food is a mix of traditional, Andalusian, and modern twists on old classics.

Fargo is another place to go for a real treat. The menu also includes high quality vegetarian and vegan options, which can be a rarity. The restaurants in the luxury hotels, such as Ena at the Hotel Alfonso, are also a sure bet for a great dining experience.

Pamper Yourself – Spas in Seville

Trip Advisor users have rated the Aire de Sevilla spa as the best in the city, so this is a great place to start if you want to get pampered. Enjoy the usual treatments like massages and beauty treatments, or try something unusual like a wine bath or ‘chocotherapy’. Find more information about their treatments on their website.wellness-285587_1280

You could also visit the YHI Spa and wellness centre for a range of treatments and sessions. For a massage that’s locally legendary, try Koru Masajes. This is a more intimate setting than the other spas. Visit here if you want a quality, relaxing massage but are less interested in the full luxurious experience.

Luxury Hotels in Seville

hdhotelalfonsoxiiisevillelobbyThe 5* Hotel Alfonso XIII is something of an icon for luxury travel in Seville. It’s in a gorgeous historic building, but has all the modern-day comforts you could wish for inside. From the moment you step into the lobby (shown here) you know you’re in a very special place. It’s not the only great hotel in the city, but it certainly has a pretty serious ‘wow’ factor.

Another great choice is the Casa Palacio de Carmona. It doesn’t really get much more luxurious than a converted 16th century palace! It’s not as grand or prestigious as the Hotel Alfonso, but worth a stay just to be able to say you slept in a palace.

There’s plenty of opportunity to step away from the traditional and indulge yourself while in Seville. If you have visited a great luxury attraction that you think we’ve missed, let us know in the comments or on social media.
