Point’s collections of outdoor seating and tables celebrate the joy of living life outside. Founded in 1920 in Jalon, Spain, Point is now approaching a century of producing beautiful furniture inspired by the Mediterranean lifestyle.
Point are based in Alicante and their outdoor furniture is what is known as all weather outdoor furniture, so can withstand extreme temperatures and is UV resistant, rot proof and fade proof. Suitable for both home and commercial use, their outdoor furniture collection is made with extremely high quality materials and will last for a number of years.
With warmth, texture and natural appeal, Point furniture is distinguished by woven craftsmanship, the company’s legacy. Their collections are designed to offer the highest levels of comfort, functionality and longevity and are available in a variety of textures, weaves and fabrics. They are also lightweight and easy to clean and made using Point’s signature synthetic fibre which is completely recycled and inspired by nature.
Point work with famous designers to create their collections like Vincent Martínez, industrial designer specialized in furniture for home and collectivities equipment, with his own studio in Valencia. His designs are included in private collections and in the permanent collections of museums such as the Design Museum of Barcelona and is the author of the Weave furniture collection which we present today.
Like Baya Weaver birds, which build their nests in a precise and meticulous way, weaving and knotting every fibre, WEAVE is born to create unique pieces to enjoy a pleasant conversation, a good read outdoors…
Defined by the distinct woven design that gives its name, the Weave collection includes everything you need as outdoor furniture: stacking chairs, armchairs and bar stools, sofas, chaiselongues and reclining armchairs, sunbeds, swing chairs and foot stools, plus tables and table bases in various shapes and heights. The collections uses epoxi baked lacquered aluminium frame, polyester rope weaving and polyurethane foam cushions and all the materials are weather proof.
Some pieces have been awarded at international events around the world like the reclining armchair that has recently won the IIDA Product Design Award in the Category of Outdoor Individual Seating at the 2018 IIDA/HD EXPO in Las Vegas, USA.
The Weave collection has been chosen by many designers around the world for home and hospitality designs and one of the most recent projects featuring Weave is a spectacular 4-star hole in Propiano, in the beautiful island of Corsica. Hotel Bartaccia overlooks the Gulf of Valinco, amidst a verdant three-hectare site blessed with flowers, and guests can enjoy several outdoor spaces including a bar-spa, a restaurant and an outdoor pool plus the spacious rooms with terrace or private balcony with views over the lush gardens and the Mediterranean.
