This is an URGENT APPEAL for a young child in need of our help!
Most of you have probably seen the story and posts on Facebook about baby OLAYA.
Olaya is only a couple of months old and was born with a very rare bone disorder where the bones are so weak they can fracture and break just by picking her up or changing her nappy. As you can imagine the parents are extremely worried and very traumatized, to make it worse they are not in a very good financial position.
Olayas’ parents have been sent to Madrid to a specialist unit where they will hopefully be able to shed more light on baby OLAYA’s condition… but this all comes at a cost to the parents. A HEAVY cost!
The car Olaya’s parents drive is barely road worthy, and the frequent trips to Madrid and Valencia are proving to be difficult and of course very costly. They live in an apartment with no lift.. so the stairs are also proving a real challenge for OLAYA as the bouncing up and down can break or fracture her tiny bones.
The doctors have recommend a special milk for Olaya, but this can only be purchased in the pharmacy and is very expensive, a cost the parents do not have enough money to purchase – Last night… they didnt even have money for food.
This is a DESPERATE Plea for your support for this young family, Grant A Wish have received a few donations so far, but what they have will only last a few days at best.
