Interior Design provides a soul to a building, bringing it to life and inspiring character, it makes the most of a space, making a home more functional and liveable. And this is exactly what the talented team of interior designers and decorators at Tarraula were able to achieve at this stunning villa situated in the exclusive area of Moraira, Alicante. interior design javea
Given that the villa was a newly built property, the designers in effect had a blank canvass on which to work. However, as with any project they took instructions and guidance from the client with regards to their personal tastes and requirements, to ensure a personalised design tailored to the clients’ preferences.
Theme wise, the designers were very keen to create a look that was in keeping with the splendid architectural design of the villa itself and as such selected furniture and decorative items that were modern, stylish and minimalistic. Further inspiration was drawn from the beautiful, natural scenery surrounding the property.
Not only did the designers plan and handpick every feature of the design and decoration – materials, colours, furniture and decorative furnishings, they also visited the property to lay out all the items, providing a comprehensive design and decoration service. Check out the results below.
First Floor, Living Room Area interior design javea
The designers here have opted for bright, open, minimalist decor and furnishings, accentuating the modern design of this property and the overall chic, exclusive ambience. The corner-style, white, luxury, leather sofa makes the most of the open-plan space and takes advantage of the stunning location, positioning itself in such a way that the surrounding, outside vistas become part of the internal decor. While the plain furnishings – cushions, plant, candles and beige textile rug – provide a cosy, homily feel.
First Floor, Dinning Area
The long, dark, wooden dinning table provides some earthy tones which contrast nicely with the otherwise neutral decor. Whereas the use of wood itself creates a more classic look which is balanced out by the contemporary style chairs.
Second Floor, Main Bedroom
The simple yet functional design of the double bed (which boasts a built-in side table and headboard) has been offset by the plush furnishings – the uber-stylish, leather bench at the bottom of the bed, the contemporary lighting and the large, super-soft, luxurious rug.
Second Floor, Second Bedroom
The modern, minimalist feel continues into the second bedroom with simple yet stylish furniture and accessories, although a dash of colour is introduced, in the form of blue cushions and a throw, which adds further character to the room.
