Marina de Dénia organizes the 12th Sports Club Bank of Spain Trophy from May 26 to 27, and 54 boats confirmed their participation to this appointment of the world of sailing, which means that the sporting event will bring together about 450 people. The competition consists of a crossing from Dénia to Moraira.
The schedule of activities given marks the Saturday of 8:30 to 9:00 for registration of ships and meeting the patrons, meeting that will take place at the Basta restaurant in Marina de Dénia. The start of the test is expected to be at 11:30 hours as long as wind conditions allow it. The fleet will then sail to Moraira and on Sunday at 11:30 hours the reverse route will be made. The competition is divided into four categories: Perfomance I (Heliocare Trophy), Perfomance II (Heliocare Trophy), Cruiser I (Trofeo Club Deportivo y Cultural Employees Bank of Spain) and Cruiser II (The Yacht Tribe Trophy). The event is organized by the sailing section of the Sports and Cultural Club of the Bank of Spain (CDCEBE), with the collaboration of The Yacht Tribe and the sponsorship of Heliocare. Each participant will donate five euros to the Aladina Foundation.
The sailing events and regattas at Marina de Dénia take place all throughout the year, and their agenda includes many more sport and leisure related events.
