We at Spain Life Exclusive caught up with our friends at Puerto Blanco restaurant in Calpe after a long closure in spring.
We felt it had been too long since we had visited last so we went along to find out that they had been up to since re-opening and how things had been going. Times have been tough throughout the pandemic but the Puerto Blanco team have come back stronger than ever with fresh new menus each week and that extra-special atmosphere.
New lunch menus at Puerto Blanco
Keeping things fresh with new menu del dia menus each week is a fabulous idea. You get to choose from the chef’s favourite dishes and then do it all again in the following week with brand new choices, what’s not to love about that? There are three different alternatives each week, so you get to pick which menu you order from. Each menu choice is a slightly different price and you can choose between three or four course.
Some of the wonderful dishes from this week’s menus are:
Homemade spinach and gouda croquettes to start
Salmon with sesame and cucumber Yakiniku style for your main
Dessert is always the chef’s special of the day
On another menu you could have:
Goat’s cheese salad with red fruits to start
Homemade house sorbet to refresh your palette
Navarra entrecote with herb butter for your main
Chef special dessert of the day
The third menu choice could give you:
Beef carpachio with arugula, basil, lemon, capers and parmesan ice cream to start
Homemade house sorbet
Lamb chops with sautéed mushrooms in Porto
To finish the chef’s special desert
And those are just one choice from each course, there are two or three alternative choices for each! We challenge you not to feel hungry reading all that.

Monday: closed
Tuesday: closed
Wednesday: closed
Thursday: lunch from 10:00 to 15:30 and dinner from 19:00 to 23:00
Friday: lunch from 10:00 to 15:30 and dinner from 19:00 to 23:00
Saturday: lunch from 10:00 to 15:30 and dinner from 19:00 to 23:00
Sunday: lunch from 10:00 to 15:30 and dinner from 19:00 to 23:00
