The 2012/2013 Michelin Guide awarded three stars to Quique Dacosta Restaurante. The restaurant left behind its 2012 season, Sabor del Mediterráneo (Taste of the Mediterranean), and began 2013 with “Made in the Moon”. It remained on Restaurant magazine’s list of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.

It’s your moment. Your moment of enjoyment. You’ve read about Fronteras (Quique Dacosta’s 2016 menu, featuring his latest creations), and maybe some of his famous dishes as well (Universo Local menu), but none of what you have seen or read can explain what goes on in this little restaurant on the beachfront at Les Marines.
But now here you are: this is your moment. You’ve taken the first step: it’s called curiosity and it’s what makes the world go round. Now all that’s left is to choose an option and follow these steps: First, before making a reservation, you must read the FAQ section BELOW. Next, when you make a reservation, a fee of €50 per person will be charged to your credit/debit card. This fee will be deducted from the bill on the day of the meal and will not be refunded in the event of a cancellation.

RESTAURANT OPENING HOURS:
Lunch from 1.30 to 2.30 pm and dinner from 8 to 10.30 pm
WHAT DO WE SUGGEST?
Experience the act of eating in a different way.
At each lunch or dinner, 30 customers can enjoy the experience we have created around food.
This consists of approximately 50 dishes divided into acts that combine snacks, tapas, thematic dishes or sequential products, desserts and sweet snacks. These may be enjoyed paired with a wine, and both the sweet and savoury snacks are served in the garden or conservatory, weather permitting.
CAN I TAKE PHOTOS OR VIDEOS?
Yes, for your own private and personal use. These may not be published without our authorisation. The surprise factor is a very important part of the experience so we therefore ask you to respect our wishes when showing our work.
HOW LONG DOES THE MEAL TAKE?
Between two and a half and three hours. This also depends on the pace set by the customer. We also suggest that smokers agree on their smoking breaks with the restaurant staff in advance.
MENUS MAY CONTAIN FOOD ALLERGEN

You can tell us about any special requests at the time of making the reservation. We will try to accommodate you as much as possible and tailor the menu to your needs. Please tell us about any special requirements in advance via the website or when you contact us.
I AM A VEGETARIAN. DO YOU HAVE A VEGETARIAN MENU?
No, we have no menu especially for vegetarians.
ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED?
Children are allowed. We leave it to the parents to decide whether to bring children to the restaurant. However, parents should bear in mind that the experience takes almost three hours and that most children will not have the stamina for it. In addition, we have no special dishes for children. Having said that, if we are notified in advance when taking the reservation, we can come up with something suitable for children, subject to the availability of ingredients at the time.
IS THE WINE YOU HAVE PAIRED WITH THE MENU THE ONLY OPTION?
No. We have a wine list with 1,500 wines. You are free to choose your own wine.
We also serve non-alcoholic beverages.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON’T SHOW UP ON THE DAY OR NEED TO CANCEL THE MEAL?
The €50 booking fee per person paid when making the reservation will not be refunded. You should consider changing the reservation with at least five days’ notice of the date on the initial booking.
CAN WE CHANGE THE TIME, DATE AND/OR SERVICE OF THE RESERVATION?
Yes, provided you give us at least FIVE DAYS’ notice. To do so, access the booking system on the website and enter the data provided in the confirmation of the first booking. Choose a new date, time and/or service for your reservation, always within the same season and subject to availability.
CAN WE ADD PEOPLE TO OUR RESERVATION?
Yes, if you do so at least FIVE DAYS before the initial reservation date. Simply access the booking system on the website and enter the data provided in the confirmation of the first booking. The system allows you to add a maximum of two diners. For more diners, please email or phone the restaurant.
WHAT HAPPENS IF WE MAKE A RESERVATION FOR 4 PEOPLE BUT THERE ARE ONLY 2 OF US IN THE END? (Reduce the number of diners in the initial booking)
If you give us at least FIVE DAYS’ notice, you may split the booking. To do so, access the booking system on the website and enter the data provided in the confirmation of the initial booking. In the example, the reservation fee and booking for two people at the original time and date is kept and you have the option of making a new reservation for the other two diners. The reservation process for the latter two is the same as when you made the booking the first time, except that in this case the reservation fee has already been paid. In other words, the money paid originally when booking for four people has been used to place a deposit on the new reservation for two people.
CAN WE PUSH TABLES TOGETHER FOR SEPARATE BOOKINGS?
No. We are unable to do this because of the types of tables we have.
ARE BOOKINGS PERSONAL AND NON-TRANSFERABLE?
No, when you make a reservation you are given a code that simply has to match the one we have on record. Therefore, if you are unable to come, you can pass the booking on to whoever you like. Or if you wish, you can buy a gift voucher for family or friends.
IS IT IMPORTANT TO BE PUNCTUAL?
Punctuality is essential.
Dining hours have been chosen to facilitate kitchen and restaurant operations and to ensure the best possible service. It is therefore important to arrive punctually at the appointed time.
CAN I GIVE THE QUIQUE DACOSTA EXPERIENCE AS A GIFT?
Yes, we enable you to give the QDR experience as a gift. To do so, you can purchase the entire experience by making the reservation and choosing the Gift Voucher of your choice (there are several options). Payment can be made via the payment facility on the website and you will receive a confirmation of purchase by email. If you prefer, we can send a hardcopy gift voucher by ordinary post so you can give it to the recipient of the gift.
