The search for the main suspect in the Barcelona terrorist attack last week, has been extended across Europe.
The 22-year-old Morrocan National, Younes Abouyaaquob is believed by police to have been the driver that killed 13 people and left many seriously injured, when he ploughed into crowds in Las Ramblas last Thursday.
A Catalan government official has said that the search has now continued cross all European Countries.
Police are also investigating the option that the suspect stabbed a Spanish man and stole his car just 90 minutes after the van attack.
800 hundred vehicle checkpoints are in place along with an increase in officers working on anti-terrorism operations. With the extension of help from European police it is hoped that the suspect will be found.
Abouyaaqoub is the only suspected member of the jihadist cell who has not either been detained or killed.
