Modular Outdoor Furniture: The Pal Collection from Point

The term modular furniture often conjures nightmare images of IKEA- systems that seem like a nice idea but when you go to buy that nice sofa unit, you discover that you need to find and select a million different, small pieces, all sold separately and you have no idea where to even begin. It’s all so daunting that it’s easier to just buy a normal solid sofa and leave the innovation to the Nordic countries.

Well, the Pal collection from Point is anything but that. This is a modular system done right. Outdoor furniture done in Point’s signature fashion; it’s modular but still simple. And simple but still elegant.

Fransesc Rifé, an award-winning designer from Barcelona, is the designer behind the Pal collection. Only a few select pieces are featured in the collection and these pieces are meant to fit together in any arrangement that suits the customer’s needs. Soft, comfy looking upholstered modules are placed atop a solid wooden platform. Endless compositions are possible and it all looks fantastic.

All of the products from Point scream quality and attention to detail. Their team of incredible designers are at work creating unique and vibrant pieces, inviting you to reconnect with nature and enticing you to spend more time in your outdoor space.

Make sure you check with us regularly on updates and insights on the beautiful designs of Point and if in Valencia in the week of 18th to 21st of September you can see the Weave collection and many other Point collections displayed at Hábitat, Valencia’s annual international design fair. Until then, we invite you to take a look at their website www.point1920.com and visit their showroom in Gata de Gorgos, Crta.Ondara nº 7.
