La Vaca de Baco has prepared an authentic Spanish Christmas Menu, selecting tapas to share, two possible options for the main courses to select from, homemade desserts and a great selection of wines and Cava to accompany the dinner.
“We intended, with this menu, to pay homage to some of the regions of our great country” the team of Vaca da Baco says. Their Christmas menu starts with tapas to share: the Txistorra de Navarra sausage, the iconic Manchego cheese and Jamón de Vaca de León, plus Smoked sturgeon from Riofrío, Granada, served with pickles, Montaña Alicantina olive oil and rustic bread or pan de payés (pa de pagès, the typical bread from Catalonia and Balearic Islands).
As main course, Vaca de Baco suggests either a Cocido Madrileño or the typical chickpea stew from Madrid, in individual ceramic pots, and optionally served with meatballs for those preferring the Cocido Alicantino, or Galician Beef Sirloin with French fries, crema agria casera (homemade sour cream) and the iconic pimientos de piquillo.
The wines for the Christmas dinner are white – Cune Verdejo D.O. Rueda, red – Baigorri Crianza D.O. Rioja Alavesa, in magnum format for 4 persons, and sparkling – Cava Brut Perelada, D.O. Empordà, served during dinner alongside water, refreshments or beer. There’s also a shot prepared for the end of the dinner. The dessert is a selection of homemade sweets, plus coffee served with candies aside.
The Vaca de Baco Christmas menu is of €45. To find out more or make your reservation, visit their website: http://www.lavacadebaco.es/
