The migrants breached the border fence separating Morocco and Spain’s North African enclave of Ceuta.
14 of those were injured from the razor-wire fence crossing, needing to go to hospital from cut and fractures, said the Red Cross.
The crossing happened yesterday, the 1st of August early in the morning.
Around 200 sub Saharans attempted to get over the six-meter (or 20-foot) fence around 5:30am. Some tried to climb over, while others tried to break through the gate.
Ceuta, along with Spain’s other North African territory, Melilla, often receive illegal border crossings from migrants trying to reach Europe. This event follows two unsuccessful attempts last month, both of which were stopped by Moroccan security forces.
