Annually, Cambridge International Examinations and Edexcel International Examinations communicate to Schools whose pupils attempt their Examinations at GSCE, AS Level and A Level the candidates who have been placed top in their country in specific examinations for this year. Four pupils at the Lady Elisabeth School in Jávea have received these awards from Cambridge International Examinations this year;
Caitlin Courtenay Dunn- Highest mark in Spain for CIE AS Level Literature in English.
Coen Stout- The High Achievement Award in Spain for CIE ICGSE Foreign Language Dutch
Maria Ortuño- Highest mark in Spain for CIE AS Level Spanish Language
Harry Gillies- The High Achievement Award in Spain for AS Level First Language Spanish
This takes the number of such awards to 47 in 7 years and the award winners represent 10 subject areas in School. This is a clear reflection of the ambitions of pupils and staff in the School and the quality of Learning and Teaching that exists.
