BASTA! Look no further, this is your place in La Marina de Denia

Add Basta! to your favorites if you are one of those people looking for the best ambient to clear the mind and eat as god commands.

La Marina of Denia has BASTA! among its gastronomic offer, an ideal place to spend a more than pleasant moment in good company. A corner where you can always see people enjoying it, some people who already know the proposal and do not hesitate to return; others who pass through the beautiful port of Denia and can not avoid the temptation to sit at a table.

This site, in addition to having a very varied cuisine, also organizes music events; so it is frequent to walk around and see people dancing in front of La Marina. A charming corner, full of flowers and green that make us feel in the middle of nature.

You can taste from delicious salads and ideal for this almost summer climate, passing by tapas, calamari in tempura, salmon cured with yuzu-miso, and some entrances to die for. Among them, lamb paletilla, risotto, hot ceviche, lubina, entrecote black Angus Nebraska and many other dishes that complete the wide range of this gastronomic temple.

Good ambient, best food

If something they do well in Basta! is to create a good ambient. The music you hear while you drink a cocktail or eat something with your colleagues is always perfect for the occasion. The site is decorated in a very warm and uncommon way on Spanish soil. The terrace is super large, both the part that is facing the port and the port side. There are places with sun and shade to choose from, depending on what you enjoy most, and a staff with a spectacular predisposition for you to take care of having a good time.

Delicious dishes

The food at Basta! is exceptionally rich, offering a delightful mix of typical international dishes alongside some unexpected culinary creations with a Asian twist that we highly recommend trying. During our recent visit, we sampled some incredible dishes, including calamari tempura with cauliflower, feta cheese and wasabi mayonaisse. Fried wonton, red tuna, guacamole, soy sauce, edamame, cucumber, pickled red onion and meslun. And they served a  warm ceviche with stone bass, prawns, yellow pepper, sweet potato, coconut, lime, red onion, and coriander. For dessert, we enjoyed an espresso martini with a brownie. There’s also a noticeable Asian influence in many of the dishes, and they serve excellent poke bowls with rice, avocado or marinated salmon, cucumber, mango edamame, wakame.

Basta’s specialty is their Menu del Día, which varies every day and always offers four unique and excellent dishes. When we were at Basta they served us as our main course a delicious cod with a tasty, spicy red curry, peppers, and fruit—perfectly balanced and delicious. The constantly changing menu ensures that there is always something new and exciting to try, making every visit a delightful culinary adventure.

Ideal for going with your group of friends (they have special menus for groups), choosing a table with the sea as the stage and asking for a cocktail while waiting for the food to be served. Book a table. You won’t regret it!
